Full Job Description

Sr. Technical Program Manager
At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we're constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver their orders. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered where and when they need them, as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the last mile delivery space. We are doing this by building a world class last mile operation, significantly complemented by our Delivery Service Partners and Amazon Flex.

As part of Amazon Delivery's PRISM (Central TPM) organization, the position will be responsible for launching new strategic products in driver experience, routing, compliance, and other spaces. You will be partnering with our business and technical teams in NA, EU, and APAC to understand their needs and develop the right business models and products to achieve them.

Key job responsibilities include:
- Identifying business and tech requirements
- Partnering with various stakeholders
- Writing specifications
- Scoping
- Driving project schedules from design to release
- Managing the production launch

You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal science, operations, product, and engineering teams. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. You will own communication through various stages of the product life-cycle.

The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading large to extra-large projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
