Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Define the strategic vision, own the long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision.
  • Responsible for the lifecycle of Taxonomy Management and Content Signals global products in Amazon Ads organization.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end product experience, customer engagement, value proposition, business requirements, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, product messaging, and reliability.

Additional Duties

  • Bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
  • Make the case for investment and demonstrate frugality by adeptly prioritizing the right initiatives to achieve the greatest impact with the least amount of resources.
  • Drive strategic communications internally and/or externally.
  • Work effectively with all types of customers, all types of teams, and all levels of leadership.
  • Align customers and teams towards coherent product features and strategies.
  • Ensure gaps/opportunities within or between regions, architectures, and business organizations are identified and mitigated.
  • Propose, optimize, and drive the adoption of critical structures that ensure long-term product.
  • Create mechanisms that audit and report results.
  • Prioritize efforts that solve endemic customer-facing problems and improve the overall product architecture, quality, testability, maintainability, and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior product managers.

Principal, Product Mgmt - Tech

Define the strategic vision, own the long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision. Responsible for the lifecycle of Taxonomy Management and Content Signals global products in Amazon Ads organization. Responsible for the end-to-end product experience, customer engagement, value proposition, business requirements, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, product messaging, and reliability.

Taxonomy Management and Content Signals subject matter expert with deep understanding of customer, their needs, the business landscape, product functionality, and backend technologies. Bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding. Experience in taking smart risks, make it safe for design and technology teams to experiment, and distinguish between one-way and two-way doors. Make the case for investment and demonstrate frugality by adeptly prioritizing the right initiatives to achieve the greatest impact with the least amount of resources. Stay abreast of relevant development and innovation occurring both inside and outside the company and use that knowledge to inspire big ideas. Drive strategic communications internally and/or externally. Work effectively with all types of customers, all types of teams, and all levels of leadership. Align customers and teams towards coherent product features and strategies. Ensure gaps/opportunities within or between regions, architectures, and business organizations are identified and mitigated. 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $197,900/year to $267,800/year. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
