Full Job Description

Executive Assistant

Amazon Web Services is seeking a dedicated, resourceful and customer-obsessed individual to support three directors within AWS Infrastructure Services. The executive assistant will act as an extension of the leaders, and will work closely with other executive assistants throughout the AWS Infrastructure Services team and across the rest of the company.

As an executive assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical activities including complex calendar management, tracking key deliverables, coordinating travel and expenses, and organizing team activities and events (such as all-hands meetings and employee engagement activities). Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating meeting agendas, space planning, and ad hoc project coordination. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.

Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
