About the RoleAs the RME Planner, you will develop maintenance plans and schedules using recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Your work will include screening APM (Asset Performance Management) work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, and estimating labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned work orders to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program.
You will collaborate directly with maintenance management, service technicians, and vendors to plan, coordinate, and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows.
You will also ensure that spare parts are ordered and maintained in stock for both planned and emergency repairs.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesKey job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Screening work orders and analyzing scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources, work criticality, and maintenance windows
Performing equipment audits to document job requirements, order spare parts for facility and material handling equipment, and coordinate with vendors for repairs
Planning reliability improvement projects and collecting engineering drawings and technical specifications to maximize system efficiency and performance
Driving proactive maintenance programs that achieve 85% planned work targets while ensuring all activities derive from APM and close accurately in Amazon's maintenance virtuous cycle
Being able to move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation, as well as perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
