Primary Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently handle material for both production and development efforts.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material.
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies.
  • Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually.
  • Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers.
  • Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
  • Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself.
  • Learn new processes.
  • Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
  • Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.

Amazon Leo Material Coordinator

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines. The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $32/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits are provided. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Additional requirements:
  • Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day.
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
