Hardware Systems ManagerWe are seeking an extraordinary and driven Hardware Systems Manager to lead the development and deployment of hardware characterization efforts. These crucial systems will validate the coexistence performance of unreleased Apple products, directly defining how our core hardware components are calibrated, tested, and manufactured. Lead, mentor, and challenge a team of highly skilled hardware engineers in the creation and deployment of state-of-the-art customized test systems. Drive the validation of coexistence performance for the future generation of Apple Hardware. Develop comprehensive hardware characterization frameworks and define rigorous test cases. Manage project schedules, track progress, and report effectively to executive leadership. Recruit, hire, and foster the professional development of team members. Ensure the delivery of robust, functional systems that directly impact product quality and manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field

• years of direct, practical experience in hardware engineering
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrating effective engineering people management or team leadership

Profound experience in the failure analysis, functional verification, and debugging of intricate electronic hardware system

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
