Apple is seeking an experienced, detail-minded data engineering team lead to join our Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting & Technology (PART) Data Operations team.
You will lead a team of data engineers delivering trustworthy, high-quality data to our Retail Finance analysts.

ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers, setting technical standards and fostering a culture of engineering excellence
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, and high-quality methods of consuming data from a diverse set of sources with variable quality and predictability
Establish and maintain data quality frameworks, including automated validation, monitoring, and alerting
BS in Engineering / Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications2
Hands-on experience with database design and architecture in cloud data warehouses and lakehouse environments
Appreciation for data quality and validation in every pipeline
Familiarity with SDLC best practices, version control, CI/CD
Experience with streaming interfaces and pipelines
Finance and accounting process experience
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,300 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
