Wireless Bluetooth QA Engineer, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems

As a Bluetooth Quality Engineer, you will own the quality of Bluetooth-enabled features across Apple's product lineup driving testing, validation, and engineering partnerships to deliver experiences customers love.

The Bluetooth Quality team is looking for a highly technical, motivated engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and brings strong collaborative skills to every challenge. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of Bluetooth features across Apple's latest products, directly impacting the experience of millions of customers worldwide.

ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end quality for cutting-edge wireless features through both manual and automated testing

Champion product quality by identifying root causes, driving bug fixes, and partnering closely with engineering teams to ship exceptional experiences

Partner with cross-functional teams to shape requirements and design comprehensive test plans that reflect technical depth and real-world customer impact

Proactively triage discrepancies, monitor field issues, and drive resolution of customer-reported problems

Execute structured and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality, reliable releases

Build, maintain, and continuously improve test setups, automation scripts, and infrastructure

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

• years of hands-on experience validating and testing products, with domain expertise in one or more of the following: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, Audio, or Networking

• years of experience defining test plans and creating test cases based on technical specifications and feature requirements

• years of experience developing test automation scripts using Python, Perl, or similar programming languages

Preferred QualificationsProficiency in C

Obsessively passionate and inquisitive with a drive to solve everyday problems in innovative ways

Laser-focused on the smallest details that are most meaningful to customers

Experience with AI tools and workflows is a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101,200 and $197,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
