Logistics Coordinator

Core Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes
• Coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customers' requirements
• Collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining a pool of independent contractor drivers and recruiting new contractors as necessary
• Managing billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software
• Preparing and submitting reports for clients and management
• Attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed
• Conducting meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns
• Covering open shifts or delivering routes in emergency situations

Position: Logistics Coordinator
Shift: 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, Saturday 2pm-6pm
Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)
On call: After hours for emergencies

In addition to the general job description above, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Excellent people and communication skills
• Customer service experience (retail and restaurant are good fit)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
• Strong ability to multitask and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in logistics and customer service
• Ability to work on-call
• Attention to detail and time management skills
