  • Verify that components match part numbers, check for defects or damage before packing and accurately label kits.
  • Deliver completed kits to production lines, assembly floors, or designated work areas to prevent workflow delays.
  • Adhere to strict workplace regulations, which often include FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and using PPE like steel-toe shoes or cleanroom suits.

Second Shift Kitting Technician

The core responsibilities of this role include:
Kit assembly, read work orders, blueprints and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to pull and package exact parts, tools or materials.

Shift: 2:30PM - 11:00PM Monday - Friday
Pay: $24.35 per hour
Plus: $1 Shift Differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track part shortages, and use warehouse management or inventory software to process finished kits.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that components match part numbers, check for defects or damage before packing and accurately label kits.
  • Staging and Delivery: Deliver completed kits to production lines, assembly floors, or designated work areas to prevent workflow delays.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to strict workplace regulations, which often include FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and using PPE like steel-toe shoes or cleanroom suits.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in manufacturing, warehousing or production environment
  • Physical Demands: able to stand or walk for long periods and regularly lift up to 50lbs.
  • Skills: Strong basic math, basic computer and database skills and excellent organizational abilities

Role Purpose:
Provide leadership, training, support and disciplines for establishment, maintenance, alignment and continual improvement of the QA System. Responsible for day-to-day Quality Assurance activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer requirements, quality assurance policies and procedures and accommodating requests for support. Leads QA team. Assigns QA team work schedules, directs team, trains associates in required QA processes and monitors associates' compliance and progress.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Monitor and report level of QMS implementation, compliance and effectiveness through audit activities, observation, review of quality metrics and customer feedback.
  • Facilitate QA training for new and existing associates.
  • Review documents and instruction prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Work with Quality Assurance, Ops Performance and Process Improvement teams to progress Quality initiatives. Incorporate QA, OP and PIM tools and methodologies, as appropriate, in performance of tasks.
  • Recommends appropriate methods for supporting the site operations' requirements for quality assurance compliance.
  • Lead/support coordination of QA license, permit and registration activities and provide direction for compliance with FDA, DEA, ATF, State and other similar regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily quality assurance activities as required or directed by management.
  • Lead and facilitate development of QMS documentation.
