The Industrial Engineer role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000. For roles within California, the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000. Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, required
- 0-4 years of experience in distribution or logistics, required
- Experience with distribution, logistics, project management, preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience, required
- Some knowledge of Industrial Engineering, preferred
- Basic concept of a warehouse operation (inbound, put away, pick, pack, ship)
- Capable of using AutoCAD and making layout changes
- Familiar with basic concept of continuous improvement and can identify low hanging fruit opportunities within an operation
- Performs GEMBA walks with operations team
- Can perform a time study and convert it to meaningful data
- Can use flowcharting software and can outline process steps
- Learning to communicate / interact with outside organizations (vendors, customers, and government)
- Utilizes conventional or routine approaches to problem-solving but shows the ability to think beyond the obvious solutions
- Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, operators, and support functions for problem solving
- Capable of identifying a problem
- Strengthen communication skills across various levels within the organization
- Able to gain understanding of processes to identify areas of opportunity
