Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans for network operations to optimize routes, schedules, and capacity utilization
- Oversee day-to-day network operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable transportation of goods and passengers
- Lead and manage a team of network controllers and planners, providing direction, support, and professional development opportunities
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network operations, such as on-time performance, capacity utilization, and cost efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for network optimization
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning
- Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, operations, customer service, and external partners, to ensure cohesive network operations and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensure all network operations comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network performance, reduce costs, and improve service quality
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions
- Work closely with the customer service team to address customer concerns related to network operations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present detailed reports on network performance, strategic initiatives, and operational challenges to senior management
