Logistics CoordinatorAs a Logistics Coordinator at Hillebrand Gori, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of domestic logistics operations, including transportation, consolidation, warehousing, cross-border shipments (U.S., Canada, and Mexico), LTL, FTL, and spot quote management. This role works closely with a collaborative team of logistics professionals and cross-functional departments to coordinate shipments from origin to destination, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective service while delivering exceptional customer service and meeting company operational and financial objectives.

You will work closely with internal teams (operations, sales, and procurement) and external partners (customers) to produce and deliver market competitive rates, quickly and efficiently to our customer base.

Key

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of domestic services for assigned primary and backup accounts

  • Coordinate order entry, dispatch, shipment planning, carrier scheduling, and delivery.
  • Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery and provide proactive customer updates.
  • Research and resolve order, shipment, billing, and service issues.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and customers to ensure successful execution.
  • Handle delivery exceptions, claims, shortages, damages, and overages.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Process vendor invoices and customer billing accurately and on time.

Meet departmental KPIs for operations, invoicing, and financial close.

  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support cross-training.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
  • Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Strongly preferred

    3

    • years in shipping/logistics/supply chain management industry/transportation.

    Preferred

    experience using transportation management systems.

    Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

    Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

    Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Physical ability to: communicate clearly and accurately, operate a computer and other office equipment

    Pay range

    $50,000-65,000 total compensation, based on experience.
