We have an immediate opening for an experienced Ramp Maintenance Specialist, based out of our Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Summary
This position is responsible for the technical maintenance and repair of Ramp Vault doors, Access Panels, Storm Water Drains (coverts/covers), Signage, Barricades, General Fuel Oversight, Emergency Fuel Shut Offs (EFSO) systems, compliance to the ATA-103 mandates, etc. To include the direct operational oversight of Oil-Water Separators, testing and cleaning.

Tasks & Accountabilities
  • Must be proficient in reading and comprehending electrical schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Will utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment including voltmeters, amp probes, meggers, and computers in the performance of duties
  • Working knowledge relating to the daily use of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Graphical Display Units (GDU) applications
  • This position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Detailed working knowledge of Daisy-Chain Systems, PLCs, Control Logix, Pro-Soft Cards, Radio Comms, etc.
  • Will occasionally be required to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, snorkel/boom lifts, pallet jacks, and mobile truck crane. Cannot have a fear of heights or elevated structures
  • Must be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2 year Associates Degree or Apprenticeship Certificate in an Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or Automated Controls Specialty is required or equivalent documented training
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical power sources and their characteristics

Physical / Personal Requirements
  • Will be required to wear applicable Personal Protective Equipment (including arc flash protection gear), and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tagout (LOTO) program
  • Will be required to wear safety toe boots at all times
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs as needed
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather (this is primarily an outside job)
  • Must be able to stand for long durations
  • Required to supply a small pre-determined list of personal hand tools. More specific tools are provided
