Summary
Plans, governs, and measures IT success using flexibility, transparency, and value conversations to shape the business demand to optimize and transform Dollar General. Directing all planning activities for the PMO including project management planning, delivery coordination & administration, program management, IT Portfolio Reporting & Management. Thus, orchestrating enterprise-wide business efforts, coordination, communication, oversight, risk mitigation.

Responsibilities
Govern & Measure Provide overall project leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given initiative
Collaborate and coordinate across the global IT organization to support implementations which drive objective decision making, maintains business partnerships and service-oriented views ensuring IT and Business strategies are in alignment with DG expectations, strategic & operating priorities.
- Ensure appropriate compliance & governance controls are in place for policy and protection of any sensitive data
- Facilitates change management, governance process, champion organizational change, and enforces compliance to changes throughout the enterprise
- Develops and disseminates key project-related communications
- Maintain Strategic alignment by engaging in the right projects/initiatives, and controlling changing priorities of demand
- Track key performance indicators, analyzing, benchmarking, and consolidated reporting for Key Performance Indicators
Consolidate project/initiatives and portfolio performance metrics from across the organization into varying views
Portfolio Management Establishes strategy, vision, and goals for enterprise-wide adoption, working collaboratively with portfolio owners
Determine strategy and outline dependencies for strategic roadmaps and ensure optimum support for strategic initiatives, portfolios, programs, and day-to-day operational activities
Champion Change Leadership as a driving force and visionary creating processes that support large-scale transformation
Establish and enforce initiatives, portfolio, and programs change management providing transparency and proper prioritization
Administrative & Team Development Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines across the enterprise common to a rapidly growing company focused on IT delivery and Product Framework synergies
Proactively set performance expectations and help project team members manage expectations of delivery and requirements
IT Coordination & representation for companywide committees, action teams, professional networks, and resource groups and varying programs
PMO Center of Excellence Lead, develop and provide standards, methodologies, and knowledge for teams to leverage to effectively meet organizational business objectives
Qualifications
Demonstrable leadership
skills: consultative supervision, ability to influence others, ability to manage all levels of the organization
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Creative ability to analyze information from different sources and create presentations
Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Tracking Tools, SDLC Development Management, & Agile Methodologies.
Education
10 years minimum experience in IT required
Retail experience required
Bachelor's degree required
PMP required
CSM preferred
