As an H-E-B Shelf Edge Specialist, you'll assist the Shelf Edge Manager in efficient department operations, including inventory management, space management, and price image on the shelf edge.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with Store Inventory Management (SIM) and plan-o-gram (POG) SOPs
- Conducting perpetual audits
- Investigating inventory issues
- Executing category refresh requirements for new item placement and Store-assigned category updates
- Assigning a product shelf assignment (PSA) to all plan-o-gram items and displays
- Auditing to ensure all plan-o-grams are properly set and current
- Ensuring demographic alignment within plan-o-grams
- Conducting shelf edge sanitation
- Processing preliminary exception reports
- Ensuring ad, price, and item sign accuracy
- Hanging coupons for total Store; pulling expired coupons
- Printing/replenishing/correcting coupons
- Creating letters of corrections
- Conducting ad walks and WIC audits
- Processing tags host batch
- Executing price changes
- Ensuring accountability for ad racks and scale checks.

Qualifications include:
- 1+ years of experience in a retail environment
- Experience in new item cut-ins, refresh process, and reviewing plan-o-grams for accuracy
- Working knowledge of Symbol usage/application
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks
- Attention to detail.

Education and certifications include:
- Primary certification (experience) in a specific shelf edge function (SB1, SB2, SB3)
- MHE certification within 6 months of hire.

Physical demands include:
- Functioning in a fast-paced, retail environment
- Performing detailed and precise tasks
- Using skid/pallet jacks
- Constantly reaching at waist, grasping
- Frequently standing, walking
- Occasionally sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, pushing/pulling with arms, pinching, performing fine motor movements
