Key Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsPatient Care
Identify short- / long-range physical health issues; develop/recommend comprehensive individualized physical therapy treatment programs
- Perform physical therapy treatment programs and document patient progress/status; administer manual exercises; instruct / assist patients in performing physical therapy activities
Obtain / study medical histories, document patient and clinic records
Interview patients; understand patient medical history; assess physical health; examine as needed
Educate / counsel patients; explain treatment plans; promote physical health and wellness
Provide evidence-based physical therapy treatments, discharge planning, and outcome tracking according to established company standards; perform treatment programs; document patient progress; administer manual exercises; instruct / assist patients in performing physical therapy activities
Comply / ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, and infection control protocols and policies
Qualifications & Key RequirementsIntermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non-complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies. Builds productive internal and external working relationships. Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience. 2
Requirements
Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program (doctorate preferred)

Current, unrestricted physical therapist license to practice in Texas

Physical Demands & Working ConditionsFunction in a fast-paced, office environment. Travel by car or plane with overnight stays. Travel as necessary to fulfill clinical responsibilities, training, or strategic planning needs within the organization. Work extended hours; sit/stand/stoop for extended periods. Occasionally lift 20 lbs or more.
