Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Maintaining the Store's cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Maintaining fulfillment of department hand wash sinks, such as paper towels, soap, sanitizer.
- Cleaning and picking up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the Store.
- Using H-E-B chemical program and correctly organizing/maintaining stock in maintenance room.
- Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles throughout the store and each department.
- Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are achieved by following SOPs.
- Communicating maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders.
- Working with/around customers; attending to their needs.
- Assisting customers in the location of product.
- Performing all duties of Customer Service Assistant (CSA) when needed.
Full Job Description
As a Total Store Sanitation Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the Store's cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Maintaining fulfillment of department hand wash sinks, such as paper towels, soap, sanitizer.
- Cleaning and picking up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the Store.
- Using H-E-B chemical program and correctly organizing/maintaining stock in maintenance room.
- Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles throughout the store and each department.

Education: HS diploma or GED or equivalent.

Physical demands and working conditions include:
- Constantly walking, reaching at waist, grasping, pushing/pulling with arms, frequently bending.
- Occasionally sitting, standing, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, pivoting, twisting, pinching, performing fine motor movements.
- Occasionally exposed to cold, ambient temperatures, loud noise, and wet conditions.
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs. It is Partners' responsibility to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and/or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
