Order Taker/RunnerAs an Order Taker/Runner, you'll play a key role in the overall H-E-B Restaurant guest experience by providing positive and memorable service while you take guest orders, prepare drinks, deliver food, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area and patio.

Key Responsibilities &

Essential Functions

Customer Service / Sales: Builds strong relationships with customers in varying situations Takes orders from customers; assists with menu / beverage selections, including alcoholic beverages Provides detailed information on menu items and specials, and beer and wine Serves food, drink, and products to guests Processes cash, check, debit, and credit transactions accurately and quickly Uses suggestive selling techniques / merchandises effectively to meet guest needs and build department sales Interacts positively with customers in person, on the phone, or through technology Assists with catering orders as needed Addresses complaints; resolves problems in a way that builds relationships Models teamwork to ensure a great guest experience Prepares, packages, merchandises product Assists in technical areas as needed

Compliance / Food Safety / Sanitation: Ensures compliance with TABC regulations Ensures compliance with department and Store standard operating procedures Buses / cleans tables; performs deep clean of dining, ordering, bar areas, as needed Maintains beverage station and bar areas Maintains sanitation in food / beverage prep areas and display cases Properly handles, operates, and maintains equipment Performs other duties as assigned
