Production RepresentativeCentral Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest, quality of ingredients. Assignments will vary dependent on department in store. Key responsibilities and essential functions include mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking of products, ensuring quality control of all product before sending to sales floor, maintaining sanitation in the department, maintaining organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in and production area, reading and executing daily production list, providing customer service as required such as answering questions, taking orders on the phone, assisting in monitoring the quality of goods and monitors shrink, ordering and receiving products and supplies, maintaining transfer records, prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously, demos or prepares customer samples for self-serve, providing superlative customer service, and using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Qualifications and key requirements include work experience with commercial production - preferred, excellent interpersonal and communication skills - required, ability to handle stressful situations - required, good verbal and written communication skills - required, knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred, and values diversity - required. Physical demands include lifting and carrying moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.), bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
