Title: CM Austin N Lamar Bread Production Starting pay: $18 - Full-Time Company: H-E-B Location: Austin, TX **Description:** **Responsibilities** Central Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest quality of ingredients. Assignments will vary dependent on the Department in Store. **Duties of this position include:** - Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking of products - Ensuring quality control of all products before sending to the sales floor - Maintaining sanitation in the department - Maintaining organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production area - Reading and executing daily production list - Providing customer service as required, such as answering questions and taking orders on the phone - Assisting in monitoring the quality of goods and monitoring shrink - Ordering and receiving products and supplies - Maintaining transfer records - Prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously - Demos or prepares customer samples for self-serve - Providing superlative customer service - Using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales **Requirements:** - Experience with commercial production preferred - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to handle stressful situations - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.), bend, reach, push, and pull - Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays) - Knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred - Values diversity
