Tax Manager
IKEA US is headquartered in Conshohocken PA, generating annual revenue of over $6 Billion, operating 68 Retail Units and 13 Distribution Units across the US. This position reports to the CFO.
• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field
• CPA Required
• 10+ years of combined multi-national corporate and/or public tax experience with progressive leadership growth.
Preferred experience working with a retailer that earns over $1 billion in sales per year, and with multiple locations.
• Comprehensive grasp of capabilities and benefits of tax and financial platforms (e.g., OneSource, Vertex, SAP, etc.)

Salary Range: $159,720.00 - $237,584 (based on IKEA compensation practices)

What You'll Be Doing Day To Day
• Lead the overall US tax function, including federal, state, international, local and indirect taxes.
• Own US tax strategy, planning, and risk management in alignment with IKEA's Global Tax function.
• Identify tax planning opportunities to optimize cash flow and tax expense and/or limit exposure.
• Optimize and monitor legal structure for tax efficiencies.
• Ensure full compliance with US federal, state, international and local income & franchise tax requirements.
• Oversee US tax provision reporting under US and Dutch GAAP.
• Manage and direct all US inbound international tax matters, including transfer pricing, withholding taxes, Interco. transactions, debt capacity, etc.
• Oversee indirect tax planning and compliance.
• Coordinate and manage all US federal, state, and local tax audits and controversies.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting US inbound businesses.
• Partner with global tax, finance, treasury, legal and other functions on tax projects and other initiatives with potential tax implications.
• Lead, develop and manage internal tax resources and external advisors.
• Provide clear, strategic communication to IKEA global tax colleagues and US Management on tax risks, exposure, and opportunities.
