Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Lead and develop the forestland team within a specified district and identify and develop successors.
- Manage and monitor the forest operations activities (e.g., planting, infrastructure maintenance, harvesting, tactical and operational planning).
- Prepare, execute and follow-up the annual plan for forest maintenance and wood harvesting, according to Forest Standard Operating Procedures and annual budget for the district.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the annual forest maintenance and wood harvesting plan in accordance with the Forest Standard Operating Procedures and the district's annual budget.
- Secure the Ingka Investments working standards, local legislation and environmental compliance in forest operations.
- Manage forest operations goals, KPIs, and costs. Investigate new leads in the process of new forestland acquisitions. Secure and prepare the harvest plan. Effectively contribute to the optimization of timber sales.
