Key

Responsibilities

Ensure that every meal served meets Chick-fil-A's high standards of taste, freshness, and presentation. Maintain consistency and attention to detail in all food preparations.

• Oversee all food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations. Monitor food temperatures, storage procedures, and sanitation practices to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Lead the kitchen during opening and/or closing shifts, ensuring that the kitchen is properly stocked, cleaned, and organized.
• Manage, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Lead by example with a positive and supportive attitude.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently during high-volume periods, directing team members to prioritize tasks and maintain speed without sacrificing quality.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and the work area meets health and safety standards.

Set and achieve team goals, manage performance, and provide direction and feedback under pressure during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Able to stay calm under pressure, giving clear direction and maintaining high standards even during busy times.

Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.

Valid Suffolk County Food Manager License/ ServSafe License is a plus!
