Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Rotate raw chicken cases to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory control.
- Properly fillet raw chicken according to company standards for size and quality.
- Ensure correct storage of raw chicken to prevent contamination, spoilage, or loss of product.
Additional Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment as needed.
- Assist in maintaining clean and safe working areas by mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of trash regularly and properly, ensuring that trash bins are emptied and the area remains waste-free.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks like sweeping and scrubbing floors, changing trash bags, and assisting with deep-cleaning tasks when necessary.
- Help unload and store deliveries from the truck in an organized manner, ensuring proper placement and temperature control for all products.
- Crush and break down boxes for recycling and dispose of packaging materials properly.
- Assist with equipment boilouts and filter scrapes, maintaining functionality and cleanliness of all relevant machinery.
- Replace and clean refrigerator filters to ensure optimal performance and food safety standards.
