Chick-fil-A Old Bridge Leadership Opportunity

At Chick-fil-A Old Bridge, we are looking for experienced kitchen/back of house leaders to help grow our team! We seek leaders who have a passion for food, food safety, development of others, and career advancement. Shift leaders are a crucial part of our fast-paced business. Your efforts keep our guests safe while preparing and delivering delicious and appetizing food!

Being our shift leader requires working at a fast pace in our high-volume restaurant. The shift leader directs shifts in the front or back of the house, helps train employees, and supports the on-duty manager at each shift. While the shift leader is a managerial position, we expect our managers to be willing to assist in all areas of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute shifts without any supervision
  • Support senior leadership team by completing delegated tasks
  • Organize staff by shift and challenge the team to strive for excellence in hospitality, service speed, and restaurant cleanliness
  • Take action to resolve customer problems or complaints as they arise.
  • Execute proper safety and cash handling procedures with the team
  • Lead by example, using our CORE 4 model to serve guests: making eye contact, sharing a smile, speaking with enthusiasm, and establishing a connection
  • Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to Senior Leadership Team
  • Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all reporting employees with respect, while providing guidance and feedback.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all tasks in the specific area the shift supervisor oversees
  • Responsible for inventory and facility management
  • Complete understanding of each key position for all shifts in the back of the store and general understanding of each key position in the front of the house
  • All other duties as assigned
