Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume fast-paced restaurant
- Offer the Team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals
- Offer immediate/respectful response to Guest's and Team Member needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly encouraging team player
- Ensures food safety standards are understood and followed in each area of the restaurant
- Responsible for hiring and firing
- Ensures employer brand promise is upheld and delivered
- Oversees leadership development for the restaurant
- Forward looking to future needs of the business to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed
- Ensures FOH schedule is being done correctly and monitors weekly labor numbers
- Oversee speed of service as it pertains to FOH
- Responsible for accurate money procedures (InForm, drawer counting, etc)
- Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEM scores with guest experience manager
Experience Requirements
Required
Prior experience is preferred as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant assistant manager are very helpful to the success at this job.

Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager contributes to the success of Chick-fil-A Layton Hills Mall by assisting the Operations Manager in executing the restaurant's daily operations and requirements. This job includes hands-on execution, deploying team members, and delegating tasks to enable a high-performance team environment to deliver outstanding service for all our guests every day.
