Team Member Position

As a Back of House (BOH) Prep Team Member at Chick-fil-A, your day starts with a team huddle to set goals and then maintain a very high standard in all areas of kitchen operations and food safety. This ensures every guest receives a consistent food experience of excellence with regards to food quality, presentation, and speed of service. Areas of responsibility include food prep, assembly of cold and hot breakfast/lunch/dinner products, cleaning, inventory, and catering orders. In the prep area, you will prepare all of our fresh salads, fruit cups, parfaits and other miscellaneous prep items. You'll engage with other team members during busy rushes and non-peak periods. Between preparing food, you'll maintain a spotless restaurant and equipment, and collaborate with your team to keep the environment friendly.

Position Type

• Full-time or Part-time positions available

Hours

• Day shift works between the hours of 5:45am-5pm with flexible scheduling
• Night shift works between the hours of 2pm-11pm with flexible scheduling

Prep Team Member Responsibilities

• Smile, create and maintain eye contact
• Speak kindly

• Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant
• Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Work on their feet for several hours at a time
• Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests and other team members
• Prepare all of the cold items for the restaurant including salads, fruit cups, parfaits and other miscellaneous items.
• Other duties as assigned
