Full Job Description

Food Truck Director

Chick-fil-A Enterprise is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial leader to serve as our Food Truck Director. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and grow a mobile restaurant operation while extending Chick-fil-A's hospitality into the communities we serve as we serve within a 2-hour radius from our home base in Enterprise.

The Food Truck Director is responsible for the overall success of the Food Truck as a business, including sales growth, profitability, people development, operational excellence, and guest experience.

Unlike a traditional restaurant leadership role, this position combines hands-on operational leadership with business management, community engagement, strategic planning, and team development.

Our goal is to develop a Director who can build a team of capable leaders who operate the Food Truck independently, allowing the Director to focus on growing the business, improving systems, and creating new opportunities to serve our community.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, self-discipline, adaptability, financial awareness, and a genuine passion for developing people. They must be comfortable working independently, making decisions, solving problems, and stepping into operations when necessary to support their team.

Successful candidates should demonstrate:
  • Strong leadership ability and a passion for developing others
  • A high level of personal accountability, initiative, and self-discipline
  • The ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • An understanding of business fundamentals, including sales, labor, inventory, and profitability
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, operational challenges, and business needs
  • The ability to remain composed and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to Chick-fil-A's standards of operational excellence, food safety, and genuine hospitality

Previous restaurant leadership or business management experience is preferred.

Benefits & Perks include:
  • Competitive hourly compensation
  • Director-level benefits package
  • Flexible workweek based on business needs
  • Sundays off
  • Free food
  • Paid time off
  • 401(k) matching up to 5%
  • Free healthcare options
  • Free Enterprise Recreation and Aquatics Center membership
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • Leadership and professional development
  • Opportunities to travel and serve at community events
  • Hands-on experience managing and growing a business
  • Positive, supportive team environment

This is more than managing shifts. It is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing business within Chick-fil-A Enterprise.

As Food Truck Director, you will have the opportunity to influence business strategy, grow sales, build relationships, develop future leaders, and create systems that drive long-term success.

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply want to run the Food Truck. We're looking for someone who wants to build something exceptional, grow our presence in the communities we serve, and represent the Chick-fil-A brand with excellence in every city we have the opportunity to reach.
