As part of the US & Canada Consumer Operations team, you will play a critical role in shaping how we grow, retain, and re-engage our consumer base through best-in-class pricing and lifecycle strategies.
We are looking for a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader to drive our Lifecycle & Pricing vertical. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and financial optimization, and will be responsible for defining how we invest in acquisition and re-acquisition to drive overall consumer lifecycle progress, while building scalable pricing systems in partnership with Marketplace Tech.
You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners across Product, Strategic Finance, Marketing/CRM, and Global teams to design and execute high-impact initiatives that drive sustainable growth and efficiency.
Core activities will include:
Define lifecycle investment strategies and optimize budget allocation across acquisition, retention, and resurrection
Design and execute pricing experiments; evaluate performance and iterate based on data-driven insights
Partner with Tech to build scalable systems enabling next-generation pricing and lifecycle capabilities
Analyze consumer behavior trends (activation, churn, frequency) to inform strategy
Coordinate cross-functional and XLOB initiatives to ensure cohesive execution
What you'll do
Lead the Lifecycle & Pricing team focused on consumer growth and pricing investments; mentor and motivate, fostering a high-performance culture, managing career development, and driving the team toward operational excellence goals
Own Lifecycle & Acquisition Strategy: Lead end-to-end strategy and execution across the acquisition (FTE / ELC) and resurrection and define and optimize capital allocation to support this
Build and scale lifecycle strategies to drive durable engagement and retention
Define and operationalize a comprehensive pricing strategy, serving as the foundation for future tech investments. Partner closely with Marketplace Tech to bring pricing innovations from concept to production
Own and evolve the Net Eater Fee (NEF) framework, influencing pricing decisions and broader investment strategy
Develop and execute XLOB strategies in close partnership with Mobility, Global teams, and Retail
Drive disciplined investment decisions, delivering measurable savings while enabling reinvestment into high-ROI growth opportunities
Establish strong performance tracking frameworks to monitor acquisition health, pricing performance, and ROI of investments
Serve as a key thought partner to tech leadership across Eater growth and Marketplace Pricing
Drive alignment across a wide set of stakeholders, including Product, Finance, Ops, and Marketing
Basic qualifications

- years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or similar analytical roles

Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs end-to-end, from problem definition through execution
Sound business judgment with the ability to synthesize data into clear recommendations and timely decisions
Effective communicator able to align executive stakeholders and frontline teams around priorities and tradeoffs
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $146,000 per year
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $146,000 per year
For Miami, FL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $146,000 per year
For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $162,000 per year
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $146,000 per year
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
