About the Role
The Uber for Business Analytics and Insights team enables data-driven decision-making across sales, operations, and growth by building scalable reporting, delivering AI-powered, actionable insights, and deploying advanced analytics and machine learning. Projects range from KPI dashboards and automated reporting pipelines to ML and AI-based models that forecast Full Potential, estimate share of wallet, and surface next-best actions for sales teams. A candidate in this role will directly influence sales strategy, uncover growth opportunities, and embed analytics and AI into high-impact, decision-driving business workflows.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, reporting automation, and scalable workflows
- Bachelor degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau) that surface clear, actionable insights for sales and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical and AI-driven solutions that inform strategic decisions
- Strong business acumen in sales performance, market share, and opportunity sizing, with the ability to influence strategy through AI-augmented data storytelling
- Experience building, deploying, and operationalizing ML and AI-based models (e.g., regression, forecasting, opportunity scoring), including monitoring and integration into business workflows (Flask, MLflow, or cloud services)
- Advanced statistical expertise (multivariate regression, time series analysis, A/B testing) combined with applied AI techniques to generate proactive insights
- Experience with cloud platforms and data warehouses (GCP/AWS/Azure; BigQuery or Snowflake) to scale analytics, AI tooling, and model training
