About the Role
Your Impact
As a Warehouse Associate at Wayfair, you are the engine of our logistics network, directly responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and in perfect condition. We move large volumes of product, from small parcels to full-size furniture, and rely on your focus on speed, safety, and attention to detail to keep our supply chain moving. This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment where you'll be cross-trained across various fulfillment functions, giving you diverse experience in every step of the process from inbound receipt to preparing final-mile deliveries.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
This role requires a team player who is willing to move between departments (such as Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns) based on operational needs. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following core
functions: Handling & Movement: Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This will involve manually lifting items up to 75 lbs. unassisted and maneuvering/team lifting products up to 150 lbs.
Technology & Inventory: Utilize scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software to accurately track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages.
Quality & Preparation: Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, which may include inspecting, assembling (deluxing), repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping.
Safety & Teamwork: Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S) to ensure safety and efficiency.
