What you will be doing

As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and verifying production processes to ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.

Main responsibilities

• Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct microbiological and chemical testing to ensure food safety and quality compliance.
• Monitor production processes to verify adherence to HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality checks and test results.
• Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout the facility.

Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Train production staff on quality control procedures and food safety protocols.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

What we are searching for

Prior experience in quality assurance, food safety, or a related field in a food manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA, and other food safety regulations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Experience with laboratory testing methods and equipment is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Pay Transparency

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
