The Production Manager serves as a technical leader responsible for improving throughput, reducing waste, supporting capital projects, and enhancing overall manufacturing performance.

  • Apply engineering principles to analyze, design, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes and production systems.
  • Lead production engineering initiatives focused on increasing throughput, reducing downtime, improving product quality, and minimizing operational costs.
  • Evaluate equipment performance and manufacturing processes to identify and implement technical improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Analyze production data, operational metrics, and system performance to support data-driven decision making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Lead root cause analyses and develop engineering solutions for production, equipment, quality, and process-related issues.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Operations teams to improve manufacturing system performance and reliability.
  • Oversee process validation, production trials, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and operational procedures.
  • Support the planning, development, and execution of capital improvement projects, including equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other engineering methodologies to improve manufacturing performance and eliminate waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, operating standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor production KPIs related to efficiency, yield, quality, labor utilization, equipment effectiveness, and process performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to production supervisors and operational teams.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or operations leadership within a food, beverage, dairy, or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to production processes, manufacturing systems, equipment optimization, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading process improvement, production engineering, operational excellence, or manufacturing optimization projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, equipment systems, automation, controls, and process flow design.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing engineering-based corrective actions.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong project management experience, including participation in capital projects and facility improvements.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and make recommendations to improve operational performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems software. Preferred Qualifications
