Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Design, maintain, and optimize the charitable giving database, including gift records, nonprofit partner accounts, and contact information
  • Conduct thorough reviews of non-profit IRS filings and financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors to gather feedback and translate needs into improved data processes and reporting systems
  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards using CRM tools and Excel to support impact measurement and strategic decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality across all systems and reporting tools
  • Identify and implement process improvements for data collection, entry, and reporting workflows

Job Overview
The Charitable Giving Data Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and improving the data infrastructure that supports the organization's philanthropic initiatives. This role ensures accurate tracking of charitable gifts, nonprofit partner accounts, and impact reporting. The Analyst will develop and refine data processes, leveraging CRM tools and Excel to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This role will be accountable for working daily in the Microsoft suite of solutions and in Sales Force, with a high level of integrity and accountability. The Analyst will perform both routine data work and problem solving, developing enhancements to current processes and solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, maintain, and optimize the charitable giving database, including gift records, nonprofit partner accounts, and contact information.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of non-profit IRS filings and financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering insights that support informed evaluation.
  • Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors to gather feedback and translate needs into improved data processes and reporting systems.
  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards using CRM tools and Excel to support impact measurement and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality across all systems and reporting tools.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for data collection, entry, and reporting workflows.

  • Familiarity with Tableau preferred for data sourcing and presentations.
  • Strong understanding of grant evaluation processes, such as metrics development, data review, and outcome reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Technology, Nonprofit Management or related.
