Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Execute the delivery of the daily blend requirements according to production schedules; through the manufacturing of syrup batches from raw materials, including water, sugar, and concentrate; ensure adherence to the company quality assurance specification requirements
- Maintains blending equipment (mixes and syrup tanks) sanitation requirements to ensure system-wide conformance to quality and sanitation standards
- Carries out the receipt of concentrate and sugar shipments in the inventory management system
- Maintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracy
- Maintains testing, sanitation, and equipment calibration records and results and inputs concentrate and sugar receipts through data entry into the Lab Data Management System (LDMS)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Understanding of a laboratory environment and laboratory practices preferred
- Basic math, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) Technology preferred
- Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques
- Ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs unless specified otherwise by a CBA.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk manufacturing floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25lbs.
