Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations, AV Marketplaces

Location: San Francisco, California 94102

About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Associate to join the Core & AV Marketplace team in US Mobility. In this role, you will help shape and execute marketplace strategy across a dynamic set of business priorities. You will work on markets where AV operators operate independently from Uber, as well as markets where AV operators participate on our platform.

You will partner across cross-functional teams to diagnose marketplace opportunities specific to AV marketplaces, develop strategic recommendations to maximize the value of AVs on our network and accelerate our growth in AV marketplaces more broadly, and help drive implementation against some of our most important marketplace priorities. You will also help shape our competition strategy in AV markets, identifying where and how we should compete to strengthen marketplace outcomes over time. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical problem-solving, sound business judgment, and the ability to move from insight to action in complex and evolving environments.

What the Candidate Will Do

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, economics, management, finance, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, product, growth, or cross-functional program management
  • Strong SQL skills and experience solving ambiguous problems by leveraging large data sets (Python or R experience is a plus)

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset, tied to strong business acumen, to turn insights into action
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building 0-to-1 initiatives
  • Experience influencing stakeholders, especially Tech, to drive alignment and business objectives
  • Deep understanding of Uber's pricing stack
  • Experience launching new products or growing adoption in cross-functional environments
  • Customer obsessed with a deep understanding of what makes a rider and driver experience outstanding, both within and outside of an app
