Account Partner, Eats SMB

The Account Partner role is an exciting opportunity to showcase your relationship management, sales, and strategic account growth skills. This role focuses on post-sales engagement with small-to-medium-sized businesses, including restaurants and other local merchants. This role will focus on supporting partners in our Upstate New York and New England markets, so candidates should be comfortable with traveling to visit with restaurants in person 20% of the month.

As an Account Partner, you will play a critical role in retaining and growing our highest-value accounts, ensuring that new partners are set up for success, and identifying opportunities for expansion and increased revenue. Your ability to consult, strategize, and drive long-term value will be key to making Uber Eats the preferred platform for our partners.

What You'll Do

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a B2B, client facing role (Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or upper management retail/food industry)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Suite or similar CRM tools
  • Data proficiency: being able to take commercial data and making it digestible to our merchant partners (charts, graphs, and other visuals)
  • Experience navigating the customer lifecycle including prospecting new contacts and upsell opportunities within an existing client organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly frame a value proposition, probe for objections, remove obstacles, and eliminate barriers to gain commitment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into partner relationships and business challenges.
  • Experience with negotiation of partnership contracts, communication under pressure, balancing partner needs and business objectives

For New York, NY-based roles: The total annualized on-target earnings (OTE) for this position are USD $85,400 - $90,000. The base hourly rate range for this role is USD $28.75 per hour - USD $30.29 per hour.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered sales bonuses & other types of compensation. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link.
