Operational Excellence Initiatives COE - Senior Analyst

Operational Excellence LeaderCVS is seeking an operational excellence leader to support our entire CVS Distribution network. This role is responsible for being a key member of the team to both lead and support projects and culture to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the operations. The role will and be responsible for network driven continuous improvement initiatives, provide insights and support to onsite operations teams while onsite in an effort to improve the key KPIs at the facility. The role of this scope will be focused heavily on the rollout and enhancements to our product picking technology. This role will be a member of the operational excellence team that has responsibilities for maintaining our labor management systems (LMS), lean projects, analytics and insights, and delivering on continuous improvement through multiple methods (network best practices, data automation, kaizen, etc). Role will be expected to travel 60% to our Distribution Centers.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Change Management: The individual will be responsible for planning and executing multiple projects at the same time and utilize good project management skills by managing risk, understanding critical path and dependencies to meet project goals on time. A key part of project and change management is communication and this role will join forces often with other teams and sites to accomplish a common goal and will have to balance multiple teams priorities to accomplish that goal.
- Training/Implementation: The individual will be responsible for developing work instructions, job aids, and training materials to support successful onsite implementations of new processes, tools, and operational initiatives.
- Must be comfortable facilitating training for large groups. Will need to effectively tailor communication to different levels of leadership and work closely with operations partners.
Process Engineering: Applies engineering methodologies/tools such as product slotting, studying labor standards (time studies), layouts and optimization of flow, and resource modeling to improve processes and drive waste reduction for distribution and inventory control operations. Help lead and contribute to site execution of process and improvement initiatives. Optimizing WMS and LMS standards to ensure best process controls.
Data Analytics: Translate data to information to aid in decision making and problem solving including but not limited to improved traceability, performance dashboards, quality and delivery measurements. Understand process settings to monitor and measure values in WMS to drive consistency and identify outliers. Will strongly use data to support and drive process and performance management decision with the operations team.
Safety, Quality & Delivery: The Operational Excellence organization is accountable to supporting key KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. While most activities are cost driven, this role will be responsible for delivering improvements in these other areas as needed. Some examples may include capacity improvements, improvements to balance/flow/bottlenecks and data setup to improve delivery, identifying and improving safety at the site through use of technology, layout, improved ergonomics, and process, and responsible for helping to deliver world class quality by supporting sites with problem solving techniques to get to root cause and problems are made visible to solve.
Lean: Manages and completes high impact CI projects across the operation that lead to improved business results. Improving effectiveness of tier meetings, establishing/improving standard work, value stream mapping, and coaching process owners on how to use lean methods to achieve operational excellence.
Labor and Warehouse Management Systems (LMS and WMS): Any process change may require changes to the LMS and WMS system of which our team owns. While there are other SME's in the network and at the sites, collaborate and work alongside them identifying and making any necessary changes.
Ideal candidate location aligns with one of the following distribution centers in
LaHabra (CA), Patterson (CA), Conroe (TX), Lumberton (NJ), Woonsocket (RI), Novi (DT), Kansas City (MO), Indianapolis (IN), Orlando (FL), North Augusta (SC), Fredericksburg (VA), or Knoxville (TN).
Required Qualifications
WMS, ERP, MES, or LMS systems and database structure experience
Successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks

Certified in standards based time and motion study systems such as MOST and MTM
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Comfortable creating and presenting concepts within team of direct peers as well as senior level management
Good verbal and written communications skills in English'
Able to work independently and structurally, as a team player and under pressure
Education
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering/science field or 4
• years of demonstrated success and experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational excellence in manufacturing or warehouse operation

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
